Making a collection with a recyclable product, fabric dyed with as little water and chemical usage as possible or the raw material sourced from responsible sources are all steps in the right direction.
But does it make you a sustainable company?
Unless you changed the way you are working to make the above your everyday business, the answer to that question is no.
Working sustainably means that we change our old ways of working, to a new, better way of working.
For that to happen, it needs to be initiated, executed, and maintained by the organisation. Not the sustainability department.
Which is why integration of responsibility brings change.
